Before Christmas, the owner of Enermodal Engineering asked us to make the holiday gift for the 110 members of his staff. And I thought….what is cuter than a silk scarf for all the ladies and a silk tie for all the men? So I took the Enermodal Logo, and their emphasis on caring for the environment and made a unique fabric design for them …… I then dyed all the silk to be a beautiful colour of lime and grass green…. and we printed the fabric, made the ties and scarves and hand painted them all as a finishing touch. I think (and I’m NOT biased!!) that it was a brilliant idea for Enermodal
to come to us, and we made them something unique and amazing. Check out the picture of two staff members wearing their gorgeous gifts!!

We do custom printing jobs of ALL kinds!! Below are some samples of our work. Is there something that you would like done? Let us know! No job is too small, too big, too different or unusual for us (in fact, that is what makes it fun for us!). Need to get it done quickly? That is fine too. And we are happy to help you with the design and any sewing you need too! We love to screen print and make things! Just call, or email us to discuss and get a quote. Hope to hear from you soon.

Monday, January 10th, 2011Gorgeous handmade ties and scarves for Enermodal Engineering!
Friday, December 3rd, 2010

The owner of Enermodal Engineering asked us to create silk scarves and ties for all of their employees for the company holiday gift. I worked with the company logo to create a interesting fabric design. Then we dyed the silk an organic looking mottled green, printed the fabric and made 40 scarves and 70 ties. Gorgeous! And SUCH a unique, cool gift.
We put each one in a handprinted velvet bag, too, of course!!

Thursday, November 18th, 2010Yogalicious Logo Dress
Friday, September 17th, 2010Here is gorgeous Danielle Franz, proud president of Yogalicious and the stunning circle dress we made for her. Kingi used some of the Yogalicious graphics, added a few of her own, and created an amazing repeating print to make this dress. It’s hard to believe but we actually turned this around from concept to finshed product in just 24 hours! Thankfully Danielle says she’ll give us more time on her next order! We think the dress turned out to be as sweet as her amazing product.

Parlimentarian Olivia Chow Models for Peach Berserk
Saturday, October 17th, 2009Peachiness was all over the runway at the 2009 Dare To Wear Love fashion show in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. In this event 20 of Toronto’s top fashion designers were asked to create a dress using African fabric in the theme of “love”. Kingi Carpenter and her crew of Peach Berserk fashion magicians pulled off this little number and no other than Member of Parliment for Trinity Spadina Olivia Chow was the model. Because the Stephen Lewis Foundation provides support directly to the grandmothers who are now caring for the hundreds of thousands of AIDS orphans in Africa, the dress features a flowing outer wrap of silk chiffon printed with the faces of grandmothers. Symbolicly the grandmothers are wrapped around the inner dress printed with the faces of the babies they are protecting.
